World Mission Sunday

We celebrate World Mission Sunday together next week. We join Catholics around the world for the celebration of World Mission Sunday. We are called to offer our prayers and financial help for the Church’s missionary work in Asia, Africa, the Pacific Islands and parts of Latin America and Europe. Please be generous in next week’s collection for the Society for the Propagation of the Faith for the Missions. Thank you!

We need your time, talent and treasures:

The Silent Auction committee is looking for handcrafted items, gift cards/certificates, sporting event tickets, vacation getaways, and even cash if that is easier for some for the Silent Auction portion of this year’s church festival being held on October 16. There will not be craft buckets this year so the Silent Auction will be a great way to use the talents of our parishioners.

Items need to be dropped off at the parish office no later than October 1 if not earlier so that we can organize our items. If you have any questions about the Silent Auction, call/text Doreen Mohr @ 419-785-5936 or Vicky Lieswyn at 419-782-3884. Help make this year’s festival a success.

We also encourage expectant parents to attend before your child is born. Call the Parish office at 419-782-7121 to register. The third Sunday of the month is Baptism Sunday at 11:30 am.
