Dear Friends of this great community; Our friends need immediate help.
We are leaving Defiance early this Friday (Sept. 8th) morning with a box truck loaded with cleaning supplies for folks in Beaumont, TX. The list includes these new or used items: 5 gallon buckets, small plastic buckets, brushes, mops, brooms, shovels, rakes, rags, towels, small tarps, etc. They need sponges, scouring pads, paper towels, gloves of any kind including rubber ones, garbage bags, gallon jugs of bleach, disinfectants, window cleaner, dish soap, general household cleaners, air-scent fresheners, etc. Also they need mosquito repellant. Please consider helping us fill the truck with supplies. The truck will leave Defiance early this Friday morning, Sept. 8th. You may take your contributions tomorrow and Thur. from 7am until 9pm to the Parking lot in front Penney’s. Simply carry your items up the ramp and put them in the truck. Let’s load this truck!
