Pope Francis has named Reverend Dennis G. Walsh, currently a priest and pastor of the Diocese of Toledo, as the 10th Bishop of the Diocese of Davenport, Iowa. This is the first time in the history of the Diocese of Toledo that one of our own priests has been named directly to become the Ordinary of another diocese.

On Saturday, June 22, at 10:00 am Bishop Daniel E. Thomas will ordain Deacons Jacob Livecchi and Chris Turner to the priesthood. Please keep them both in your prayers!

The priests of the Diocese of Toledo will gather with Bishop Daniel E. Thomas for their bi-annual Convocation from June 17-20, 2024.  Once again, the convocation will be at Sawmill Creek Resort, Huron, Ohio. The bishop has the expectation that all active diocesan priests will be joining him for the full duration of the Convocation. Therefore, daily Mass schedules and priests’ office hours throughout the diocese will be altered to accommodate the participation of all active priests in the convocation. The convocation provides our priests the opportunity to be together for spiritual nourishment, prayer, fellowship, and recreation. Please remember to pray for all of them, that their priestly fidelity, unity, and identity will continue to be renewed and deepened.

Our gym is full as teachers have purged their classrooms in preparation for school updates.  The dates are the garage sale is June 13-14 from 9am-4pm and June 15 9am-noon.  All items must go.   Have a great summer.
